THE CONVENTION
PIQC Institute of Quality (formerly Pakistan Institute of Quality Control) is pleased to announce Pakistan’s 12th International Convention on Quality Improvement on November 24 ~ 25, 2008, at Lahore, Pakistan.   It is the biggest Quality event of Pakistan which attracts managers from the corporate world, academicians and analysts from around the country and the region.

OBJECTIVE
ICQI is an important Annual Quality event, which provides an opportunity to Quality experts and professionals to share their experiences, case studies, analytical and empirical work, and research outputs and give solutions to quality issues being faced by the industry including service sectors.  Eleven Conventions have been organized so far at Lahore and Karachi, receiving extensive recognition by the organizations and professionals from within Pakistan and this region.

THEME
APPLICATION OF TQM TOOLS

CALL FOR PAPERS
Abstracts and Papers are invited from those interested to participate in this convention as speakers. Papers should preferably be the Concepts, & Analysis, Research work, and Case Studies/Good Practices in the application of TQM Tools, e.g. SPC, QFD, SIX SIGMA, ISO 9000, Cost of Quality, Benchmarking, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Quality Circles, and Metrology, etc. The abstract should contain one page synopsis of paper and brief resume the author/presenter. The abstracts will go through Peer Review and only approved abstracts will be selected for final presentations. The final paper will be in the form of a written paper/text or a power point presentation
