Pakistan’s 5th National Conference on Quality Assurance in Education (EQ2007) was organized by PIQC Institute of Quality at PCSIR Auditorium Lahore on June 16~17, 2007.  The objective of this conference was sharing the best quality practices in Education and also to explore, analyze and synthesize the successful methodologies which have resulted in quality out comes in Education.  Around 20 senior academicians and quality experts from around the country participated as speakers, including Mr Kamran Moosa, (CEO PIQC), Prof Dr Syed Muhammad Awais (Pro Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University) Dr Bernadette L Dean (Associate Professor, The Aga Khan University, Institute of Education Development) were the key note speakers.  More than 120 academicians, administrators and professionals from all over the country attended this conference as delegates.  This two days conference consisted of four highly interactive and full of learning technical sessions.  These sessions mainly focused on the quality issues of Teachers, Curriculum Assessment, Research, Quality Assurance Models, Teaching methodologies, Quality assurance in distance learning and other topics.  Superior Group of Colleges, M/s Nestle Milkpak Limited, M/s Coca Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited and M/s Riaz Bottlers, Nirala Group of Companies were the co-sponsors.

The conference concluded with highly satisfied delegates and the organizers achieved their objective.
